LMH Hires Meta Lim as Vice President of Housing Choice Voucher Programs
Toledo, Ohio, July 23, 2021 - Joaquin Cintron Vega, President and CEO of LMH (Lucas Metropolitan Housing), has announced that the agency has hired Meta Lim, as Vice President of the Housing Choice Voucher Programs. Lim has a distinguished professional career of over eighteen years of experience promoting housing of choice opportunities.
Before joining Lucas Metropolitan Housing, she served as Manager of Assisted Housing Operations at Rockville Housing Enterprises in Rockville, MD and Housing Opportunities Commission in Kensington, MD. More recently, she served as the first Tax Chief for the District of Columbia Government, where she successfully developed and implemented the tax collection for the District's Paid Family Leave program.

"She is a professional who incorporates the necessary housing choice voucher programs' knowledge and expertise with the leadership, communication, and interaction skills that Lucas Metropolitan Housing needs to create housing opportunities in existing high-opportunity neighborhoods and improve neighborhood conditions to create mixed- income communities of choice," he said.

Lim graduated from Strayer University at Washington, DC and, in 2020, completed the DC Executive Leadership Program at George Washington University. She is certified in Performance Management and Public Housing Authority Financial Management. From a more technical standpoint, she is also certified as a Tax Credit Specialist and Public Housing Manager and in Section 8 Rent Calculations, Fraud & Compliance and Housing Choice Voucher Program Management.
Throughout her career, Lim has been recognized for several achievements including a Merit Award for performance from the Housing Opportunities Commission.
