Who: Lucas Housing Services Corporation, in collaboration with the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center, Ohio Teaching Family Association, Lucas County Children Services and the Youth Advocate Program, Inc.

What: Launch of the Bridge to Independence and Success Pilot Program
The program will provide campus-like housing and wraparound support services to homeless youth ages 18-21 who are exiting the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center or aging out of foster care.

Lucas Housing Services Corporation (LHSC), an affiliate of LMH, is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit. It provides relief for the poor and distressed, combats community deterioration, eliminates discrimination, and assists low-income families and at-risk individuals so that they may achieve self-sufficiency.

Established in 1933, Lucas Metropolitan Housing (LMH) continues to provide affordable housing to adults, seniors and children in its Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Mixed-Income and market rate housing units. LMH also provides a myriad of programs and opportunities designed to improve the total quality of life for our residents, with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency.
